<p>Sorry hopefulhoya, I just called a friend of mine who does MUN and he has no idea. We quickly got off topic and chatted for an hour. So, I still have no idea. I think I’ll just take another random guess. </p>

<p>Cool! I know the Probable Valedictorian of West Genny. Y’know I’ve always wanted to do MUN, but I’ve got too much of an attachment to all my musical groups. It sounds like a lot of fun.</p>
<p>No, I live in southern Louisiana, but I’ve spent almost three weeks in DC since January, so I have a good idea about some of the “places” around there.</p>
<p>I remember when I applied, I kept my class rank a secret so people wouldn’t expect me to get into certain places and I went on and on about how much I wanted to go to UVA, which was my safety school and I knew I would get in, so that way if I didn’t get into Georgetown no one would know. Yeah, I was kind of paranoid.</p>

<p>My son loves DC as well. Did NSLC, and we did family vacation there earlier in the summer.</p>
<p>Hope to look at Catholic. He’s a junior. He goes to a Jesuit school, so Georgetown is a big deal. </p>

<p>Dumbest reason why I don’t want to go? twofold. (i’m highly critical of everything. lol)<br>
- Campus is too small
- The pictures that a friend, GU 2012, posts on his facebook make the school look EXTREMELY preppy and into hard liquor. I know it’s anecdotal, but because it’s the only window i have into the student body it makes me worried.</p>
<p>Oh, and the people talking about which school they go to, are you listing prep schools? I have no knowledge about elite prep school. that’s a public school kid from the midwest for you…</p>
<p>If I get into Georgetown, I feel like I’ll be able to definitely get into any of my other schools, seeing as Georgetown is my greatest reach… That’s my dumbest reason =)</p>
