I'm kind of thinking of taking a required course at another university, for which I would have to get up at 5:00am to catch the train for a 9:00am class... Who here had it worse? :)

only 5am a couple times on special final exam times…lol 5am for a regular class, i dont think i could do it thats a long commute for a class

That’s for the summer so it would only be 3 times a week. Usually, I got to bed around 5:00 in the summer when I got nothing in the morning, LOL.

Back when I lived at home and had to commute, I got up at 5:45 to beat the traffic and be there on time for my 8:30 classes. The drive itself was about 40 minutes, but it could take up to 1 hour and a half with major traffic.

Now that I have an apartment near school, I have to get up around 7:30 for my 8:30 classes… I usually end up skipping classes way too often though.

Are you asking or bragging?

As a student-athlete, I have to wake up at 5:45 for morning swimming or weights 3-4 times/week for 60% of the year. This year I had class at 9:30, for which I would nap after practice, but then wouldn’t wake up in time for it lol.

5:30, for a 7:30 class. I hit snooze multiple times, but I make it!

One summer I had to get up at 5:00am every morning, so I could leave my house at 6:50am, and bike 2.5 miles uphill to class by 7:30am. And of course, after school, I’d have to bike all the way home.

^At least it was downhill on the way home. The earliest I’ve had to wake up for class in college has been 7. Other things, like work, I’ve had to get up earlier for.

The earliest I had to wake up was 8 for an 8:30 class, and I stopped going by the end of the semester, but it was Intro to Soc so it wasn’t imperative to attend. You’ll regret it, don’t do it.

You guys spend too much time getting ready.

Earliest I had to get up was 7.45 for an 8 am class. Never again. I missed a good half of the classes at least. I would shower/ look presentable after that class – like I give a flying fhuc about anyone’s opinion that early in the morning.

Hell, 9 am and 9.30 classes are abject misery.

Currently, all my classes start at 11 am every day. As it should be, as it should be.

I despise days when I have to wake up before 9. Even before 10 is miserable…

Next semester all of my classes start at 2PM. Yay.

As for sleeping schedule I don’t remember if or when I went to bed last night, let alone the earliest I’ve ever gotten up.

just curious but are you guys typically late sleepers? I’m a pretty early riser when I need to be. And like even weekends I get up by 8 unless I’ve had really really late nights. Do you think its going to be hard for me to wake up early in college just because there’s more free time?
