The "Easy GE" List

I meant I would like to take MAth and Physics next quarter. Would something like Stat 10 be a good balance to cover my pre-med requirement?

I think you have to take a stats class anyway to be pre-med. Did you not look at the Pre-Health/Pre-Med list thing on the career center website I linked? :(

how is the bioterrorism class? easy/interesting?

bioterrorism with ralph robinson is back? i guess they decided to keep him after all since i ran into him on campus the other day.

it may possibly be the best science GE out there - robinson is an excellent lecturer, interesting topic, 2 fairly easy tests that make up your whole grade. i'd take it especially if you hate science.

u can take it next year if u'll be transfering to Davis... the class isn't back, but he'll probably bring it to UCD. It's my favorite class of all time. This is a lost for UCLA and a gain for UCD :(
Funny thing is, I'm a science major and I learned ALOT more from this class than LS1 (Got A's in both). Plus the readings were amazing. He did offered it online through extension during the fall, so u might want to check there (it was full when my friend tried to sign up for it)

what? so ucla doesnt offer mimg 12 anymore? I looked it up on the GE List and it was the only class that sounded interesting on the whole list.

Someone on the first page said Econ 2 is a ge...

it's not.

I don't know if that's been cleared up or not. lol

I have a quick question for the engineering ge req's

For the foundations of scientific inquiry, it says one course (4 units minimum) from the Life Sciences subgroup supplemented by the following choices: chem bio etc etc it lists a few classes. Does this mean that you can take a class from the life sciences group OR one of the courses listed? Its not too clear what they mean

^ you are correct.

another really quick question, is haines 350 to ms 5200 pretty doable in 10 minutes? it doesnt look very far on the map but i might just be underestimating the distance

i don't see why not. i go from haines to franz in about 5, and 5200 should be the ground floor so elevators aren't a factor, so it should work!

has anybody here taken Arch & UD 89T before??? i am wondering if i should take it and would like to know how difficult prof. favro is...

Hmm, if WAC 22 with Noonan is so easy, how come the class isn't wait-listed or closed by now? It makes me suspicious :X

Suspicious? Just do it, fiend. GEs are not that difficult unless you make an effort to choose the most difficult ones... since, that would make them difficult.

At any rate, I hope you suffer in that course if you so choose to enroll.

Sand in your vagina today, *****whoar?

You're one to talk. Did you not have your dose of sex today? Sand in my V is probably more than you're used to.

Boyf comes Wednesday!!! :D

so is the bioterrorism class not offered anymore?

no its not. professor robinson moved to davis.

Any suggestions for life science with lab? Or is Physci 5 the best way to go?
