The Economist is a good read. It covers everything. It's almost like a newspaper.

hahaha I clearly don't care. I've read it a couple of times ( my brother always buys it) and I truly say that its the closest I've been to considering suicide, each time I turned the page I reassured myself of my love for masochism. Each new article made me want to be a step closer to death.....j/k...I just don't find it really interesting...I'd rather read other stuff

I couldn't have said it better myself. The Economist is the most soul-crushingly boring magazine out there.

There are people for whom Tom Friedman isn't a punchline?

the only magazine i read is entertainment weekly

Umm...The Economist is ok....not the most exciting read but not bad for news coverage.

New Yorker and Business Week...my weekly dose of reading.

Wow...the Economist should only be read by individuals with an appreciation for tracking the global political climate and ongoing global events.

Anyone that has described it as boring is obviously not interested in politics.

Therefore: Interested in politics = read, if not, **** off.

Also, if anything the Economist has a liberal leaning, not conservative. The Economist is generally considered to be a centrist magazine (generally economically conservative while socially liberal).

I prefer newspapers for my news. I read my local paper and The Washington Post. I just prefer the feeling on the paper, actually.

For magazines, I like to kick back and relax. For me, if the pages are glossy, the stories should be too. Which is why I'm currently devouring the latest People, which is enlightening me about Jen and Vince's rumored engagement.

I get the Economist but I can barely keep up with the issues during the year... So much to read!

A daily edition of the WSJ is, in my opinion, more boring than The Economist. But my interests tend more to the global side of things. The Economist isn't that dense (though it really loses me on South American affairs) and it's funny at times.

The Economist is a great magazine imo! I prefer it over Business weekly..

I'll read it but I won't buy it.
