With the end of this week, the 3rd marking period also finishes. The end of the marking period also brings unneeded stress.

Tonight I have to:
Finish writing an essay for english
Make a game using the program gamemaker
Study for my APUSH test tmrw
Study for my physics quiz
Do AP stat hw
Do Math hw

Well, you can B.S. the last two or do them speedily if you’ve got math aptitude. You can also study half hour max for that physics quiz (don’t go overboard, however). So, now I’ve cut your workload 50%. If you’ve been keeping up with the class in APUSH, you can review max 2 hours for the test. So, far, this is roughly 2 and 3/4 hours. The rest of the day you can dedicate to the game and the essay. Good luck!

You know, half of the problem with the whole end-of-the-marking-stress is because teachers procrastinate far more than students and no one calls them out on that.

I have like 4 classes where the teacher has only 2-3 grades for the entire marking period, and then they realize they need more grades…so they simple pile more work on us. This is worst time for them to do that because I need to study for my APs.

My Last Week Schedule:
Gym Essay
Study for 2 AP Gov quizzes
Study for Government Test on a new chapter, we went through in 20 minutes

My quarter ends soon, so I have to . .
Study Chem
Write half an English essay
Work on my IRB
Write a school newspaper article
Study AP Euro
Read AP Euro stuff
Study math
Math hw

The end of the marking period for me consists of state standardized testing for the juniors, so this week’s all three-period days and then we get out early. Plus, Monday was an inservice day. It’s probably the best end of marking period week I’ve ever had. The end of the last marking period was terrible. I had three midterms, two projects, one paper, and one other exam. It was a bad time for my sophmoritis to kick in.
