several questions. okay if they mail out decisions dec. 10th, which is a friday, chances are, we'll get them on monday. and i know you can check online, but we're all still getting the letter. anyway , does anyone know what we can expect? is it like a huge fat envelope if we get in or does cornell like to play with our heads and send everyone a thin one?

I read from another post, that ivy acceptance decisions are like a huge fedex box with tons of stuff inside for you to complete, I'm not sure how huge "huge" is, but maybe like 11 by 8 by 3, but I'm not sure if that poster was correct. Im sure it will be big enough for a lot of forms, and I'm sure the deferral letter is like one saying you are deferred, and maybe a rejection letter will be more compassionate and longer. You'll know online on Friday, so you'll know what to expect, unless you are planning on waiting until monday, I could never do that, good luck.

I got my acceptance already. (Im a GT transfer, but the envelopes are the same) It comes in a big white envelope thats probably about 10 x 13 with big red letting on the front. Inside there's a big red folder with a whole bunch of info, including you official letter and your "ticket to cornell" (a.k.a. you deposit slip)

omg you got your acceptance already??? ughhh i want mine!!!! i heard that CALS gives them out as they are made but i have yet to get a response...this is so frustrating i need to know

They only do that for RD candidates, everyone that applies ED hears December 10 at 5 PM online.

Hmm...I guessed they changed them.

The great thing about Cornell decsiion envelopes were that they were all small envelopes-you had no idea until you opened it!

I guessed they changed it and ruined the fun-usually you got the fat envelope with all the stuff a couple of days later.

Then again, I did apply RD, they may do it differently when you do it early.
