vrbo is a great idea!

Lakeside Dining Hall will be open starting the Monday August 9th, the schedule is at http://www.campusdish.com/NR/rdonlyres/EC5B090B-C95E-4071-A90B-7E0C0AFD3505/82909/Copyof2010summer3.xls .

Mike, I stayed at that Microtel before I moved in last year and it was an okay place to spend the night. If your rate is higher, they might accept the coupon at [al index](http://travelcoupons.com/alabama/alindex.htm) . It seems that I’ve been to just about every hotel in Tuscaloosa, so if you ever have a question about a certain hotel, you can ask me.

For some of Family Weekend, my family will be staying in Vance (near the Mercedes Plant) at the Greystone Inn (formerly the Baymont Inn&Suites). For the other nights, I took Omama’s advice and booked the Home-Towne Suites.

SEA_tide have you stayed at the Best Western?? Just wondering…

I haven’t stayed there, but it seems like a nice place. It’s near the interstate next to the America’s Best Value Inn and is across McFarland from the Comfort Suites. There is also a Best Western in Northport, but I forget exactly where it is located.

DS is moving in at 4pm on Sat. 7th, he’s doing OA and the spot was available so we grabbed it. Hubby will be driving him down from here (Chicago) since I have to be home to do stats for the PGA Championship and the first day of DS#2 Marching Band :), which is probably for the best so DS doesn’t have to watch me cry the entire time! Staying Sat. night at the Winfield. Since this will be hubby’s first time at UA probably not up for a get together, the two of them will be checking the place out.
