So, I am a rising senior who is confused about common application, esp the "Extracurricular" list...

As an international student, my school does not offer any help for kids applying to American unis, so I am completely clueless... I found that CCers mainly talk about clubs, research, and volunteer in terms of EC. However, the instruction on Common Application is "Please list your...family activies and hobbies...". Here is my question:

I like drawing. My best friend and I even accomplished a comic book, but it is not published, recognized, or whatsoever.(I won some awards on art and I volunteer at city art museum. So putting the comic book makes my app more coherent, or not?)

I went to Italy w/ my sister for 2 wks. (I live outside of the US, but I take trips abroad 1~2 times a year. For example, I went to India(volunteer), California(berkeley summer sessions), etc. I went to these places to do "something" and took trips there after I finished the "something" lol But I went to Italy simply for fun...)

I constantly read some magazines, e.g., National Geographic, Business Week.

things I listed above can be put on the Common Application?

Thanks in advance!
