<p>I have been accepted and plan to enroll as an international student. I have foound the program on Buzzport and it seems like a quite useful program. I am here to ask you whether this program is required and really useful, since as an international student living aboard, I can't arrive Tech very early. How do you think of this program? If it is not required, should I attend it by arriving Tech much earlier in order to join it?

<p>Although not required, you should definitely attend FASET, and it will certainly make class registration easier. There are very few students who choose to opt out of FASET. If you don’t know what clubs/activities you want to get involved in, would like to learn about study abroad, co-oping, the research program, or talk to people in your academic department, these are all available at FASET. You will also get a chance to meet many of your future classmates both in and out of your major before the year starts.</p>
