The Fat Envelope

I got accepted early decision, but I assume I should get pretty much the same packet as regular decision acceptees. Has anyone gotten their physical acceptance envelope with the housing and other information. I live on the west coast so I expect that it will probably take a few more days than people on the east coast.
If you have received your packet, can you give me a rating of its coolness out of 10 (enough description to get me hype, but not ruin what it actually looks like.)

Its coolness last year was a 10 out of 10. There’s no better feeling than holding the tangible, physical acceptance. The presentation immediately makes a statement. It was the exact moment that I realized I was a Big Red for life! *-:slight_smile:

Anxiously waiting for it in the mail. D was accepted ED and it’s been a long wait to hear more from Cornell!

I just got it! I don’t know how to describe it without ruining it for you, so you’ll just have to wait. :smiley:

My daughter just got her’s. She’d also applied ED. We’re in CA. Well, what can I say … if you’ve gotten into Cornell, that’s already HUGE. As for the packet, all I’ll say is that it’s fairly … ummm … environment friendly. She’s gotten thicker marketing materials from colleges during the application season so it’s good to see Cornell going green.

Go Big Red!

Is there more than just the official physical letter? I was accepted ED and just got two pieces of paper back in December. I assumed that was it, but does Cornell send out a larger packet?

@cornellian19‌ It’s a letter and a small pamphlet.

Still haven’t gotten it in the mail yet. :frowning: (Chicagoland)

@annwank‌ - We’re in Evanston and got it on Friday.

@hs2015mom, Wheaton. Maybe tomorrow?

Got it today in MD
