It depends greatly on which schools my boyfriend gets into as well :\ I got into LA last week and am just crossing my fingers for this Friday !
Both have great English programs (although Berkeley’s is less known but ranked #1 in the nation !!!) so I’m honestly on the fence for THEM.</p>

Yeah. I’ve spoken to Berkeley reps as well and they told me I had a really good chance. Thanks for the reassurance

<p>@ jyi: I’m not sure about the average GPA admitted for sociology, but it seems to me like you may be a slight reach.</p>
<p>I know at UCLA the Avg. GPA admitted is a 3.72. I think that Berkeley’s would probably be slightly higher. I think you really are on the fence here.</p>
<p>If you wrote really good PS’s, and have all prereqs done (with A’s in all of them??) then you have a good shot.</p>
<p>If not, then you’re probably a slight reach.</p>
<p>I jumped over the border fence for UCLA woot but I am not so sure if I can hop over Berkeley’s fence as well lol</p>
