i still havent started!!!! and i feel like a looser for that....im under a lot of pressure in my opinion because i have so much to do

^^^Don't worry the pressure is normal, just take things one at a time, and overtime you won't be as overwhelemd. Trust me, at times I thought I was going to explode with all the things I had to do at once, but let time pass and over time it'll all get better.

My son did his UVA essay the night before his ED application was due. We read it and had no changes to offer. He got accepted, so procrastination doesn't always yield poor results.

I think certain people (myself included), procrastinate so that we have pressure on us, and this makes us perform better. It's weird and masochistic, I know, but it worked for my son. He inherited it from me!

I agree with the whole 'pressure makes me perform better' thing, but I don't think I'll risk putting off my essays until the night before they're due. I like pressure, but not that much.

I'm so glad there are other people in the same boat as I am! :)

I haven't started mine too. I'm just hoping that something will come out of my head before November 1st.

I'm just hoping something will come out of my head sometime in october so I have time to run it by my college counselor...I like Colgate's supplement essay topic though...."If money was no object, what would you do?" Although I can't help but say make more money.
