The food at UT Austin is okay. However, the food at Zen Japanese Cafe, which is on campus, is amazing.

Not as good as the food at Zen on Guad or SoCo. Their menu is waaaay smaller.

I love how I can get from my dorm room to Zen in 5 minutes

Would y’all know how many gluten free options there are during the year? I just went for orientation and there wasn’t a whole lot of gf food.

My roommate last semester was allergic to gluten. She went so far as to order food off of amazon that was gluten free. And shopped at Whole Foods. There are restaurants around Austin that have gluten free things like Mellow Mushroom for starters.

I’m not sure as far as cafeteria food goes though… You might just have to keep peeling your eyes for the ingredients or else branch out to other places. Bevo bucks will go fast, and dine in dollars will last! lol. You can use them at Kin’s Market I know for stuff other than food. Or drinks. Coffee…And so on!

I know that the Kinsolving dining hall will prepare gluten-free pizzas upon request. I’ve witnessed a couple people do this.
