THe Friendliest Colleges/U For Int. Students part deux

<p>Which colleges, that you have visited or you are in or ..., do you think are friendliest^_^ for international students?</p>

<p>Definition of friendliest:)
-International students are not segregated and stuck with other int. students.
-Real melting pot not salad bowl.
-Int. students have good social life. </p>

<p>USC has a huge international student population. While they have housing that international students can live in if they choose, international students are greatly integrated if they want to be (my roommate is from Pakistan, so she branches out, but seems to really only be friends with people from Pakistan. That's just how it works out for her). According to our website, there were 5,500 international students at USC from 115 countries.</p>

<p>Tufts. We have a very large international population here (probably because of our international relations program).</p>

<p>I think the focus here is on the melting pot piece...what's the point in having diversity if people self-segregate? "Huge international population" doesn't mean anything. It could be a huge international population isolated from the rest of the student body.</p>

<p>being an international student at penn I can tell you that it is a very open and friendly univ towards intls.</p>
