Byerly:

MY kid who hails from state A and attends a prep school in state B. For admssion purposes, where coleges count the kid from state A (where he lives) or State B (where he attends school). Thanks

Answer: State B.

Not true. State A is the correct answer.

The answer is: it depends.

When Harvard (or any other school) is counting Wyoming residents, they'll put the Wyoming kid who went to Andover in the Wyoming category.

When they're looking at educational diversity, (or imposing an admissions quota) they'll count him as an eastern preppie instead of a cowboy.

This is truly an inspiring and amazing story for me Byerly. Thanks for sharing it!!!!:):)

Beautifully written, I thought.
