The Golden Globes

Are you happy? Are you sad? Are you going to make immature jokes about whose "golden globes" looked the best?

List of winners/nominees: 67th Golden Globe Awards - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am shocked, shocked that Avatar won and very, very happy that Chlo

30 Rock should have won something.

I saw my high school in a couple commercials including that beautiful street corner I walked past so many times. And then a guy from my high school won.

That was pretty cool.

I really wish that Tobey Maguire or George Clooney had one for best actor in a drama. They were both very underrated performances IMO.

Modern Family or 30 Rock should have beaten Glee.

House should have won.

Tina Fey should have won for 30 Rock.

And finally, Jeremy Piven should have won for best supporting actor.

Overall, I was disappointed to say the least.

Time for the film nerd to pipe in…

George Clooney’s performance was NOT underrated at all. It’s been praised by many critics.

Jeff Bridges is a cool guy and I like his movies so I had no problem with him winning.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt should have won for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy, not RDJ.

Bigelow should have won Best Director, not James Cameron.

UP IN THE AIR should have won Best Picture, not AVATAR.

The Golden Globes pretty much failed.

I don’t listen to critics, but I still really believe that Clooney’s performance was very underrated.

I loved it for the fact that his character in Up in the Air somewhat mirrored his own life in the fact that George Clooney never settles down and gets married (though, if younger girls always want him, I can understand his motives).

It was one of the worst awards ceremonies I’ve ever watched in spite of Ricky Gervais’ great hosting.

The Hurt Locker losing? Even more disturbing was Kathryn Bigelow losing though… ugh.

Sandra Bullock winning over Carey Mulligan or even Gabourey Sidibe? Robert Downey Jr? Julianna Margulies? Alec Baldwin for the 3rd time?

I would say that the only wins I agreed with the entire night were the supporting film wins and the two TV series wins. But that’s about it.

I was also glad that Up’s score won. The way they used it in the movie was so amazing. I was disappointed by a few of the other categories though.

Did anyone else think things were a bit awkward between gerard butler and jennifer aniston on stage? nobody seems to believe me

(500) Days of Summer should’ve won something. That movie was great.

I wish Jude Law had been put into the awards as a Supporting Actor instead of Robert Downey Jr.

Other than that, I think “500 Days of Summer” should have won something, and I would have preferred “Coraline” to win best animated instead of “Up”.

Hurt Locker should have won. I’m very disappointed

I think Glee deserved Best TV Comedy or Musical, I’m glad it won.

I was surprised by Avatar and Robert Downey Jr. winning, but I do agree that the awards Up won were deserved as well.

I forgot about “Glee”.

Yeah, actually, I wouldn’t have wanted Glee to win. I don’t like the show.

I don’t watch TV so I don’t know what goes on in TV world, but so many of my friends’ facebook statuses are about Glee. It’s really annoying.

Glee is awesome because when they sing, it actually makes sense. Unlike HSM aka the show that bursts into song.

Which is why, presumably, Glee gets nominated to the Golden Globes and HSM doesn’t.

PS–Anyone else think of Harvard Stanford MIT when he said HSM? SEE WHAT CC DOES TO YOU?!

What is HSM?

High School Musical is what came up in my mind.
