I might be paranoid about this but my guidance counselor wrote me a letter of recommendation last week and she actually gave me a copy of it. However, she put down that I had a 3.67 weighted GPA which is what my GPA was before first semester senior year grades. The semester just ended and I got my transcript today and it is now a 3.75 weighted GPA. I might just be paranoid but would colleges know that the 3.67 is from last semester and my new GPA(3.75) is on my transcript? I am scared that they might just look at the 3.67 since it is from the counselor and ignore the 3.75.
She uploaded it to the common app a couple days ago. I haven’t applied to any colleges yet though.
Most colleges look at prior grades for admission.
Senior year grades are nice to have, but the universities will be basing their decisions on mostly sophomore and junior years. Your counselor has time to send a midyear report, which many colleges will request.

Really? But what is the point in regular admission when you can apply early action/decision? Wouldn’t they consider first semester senior year grades when you apply regular admission?
I don’t know if my counselor sends a mid year report. Does she upload it to the common app like she did with my LOR? Will it have my updated GPA listed too?
