The GPA That Matters.

I'm sure the later GPA will matter when it comes to following up after being accepted into a 4 year university. My question is what GPA will schools base their decision on if I am applying in the fall? Would it be whatever gpa I have earned up until that previous summer? Its just that a I feel that I can get my gpa just a little higher by the end of the fall of which Ill be applying. I wish my application would include those fall grades but, most likely they won't since I will be applying in November of that semester right?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. It is just that I am off school right now so I don't have a chance to ask a counselor.

thanks.

(honestly guys this is one of my first posts. I tried doing some research to see if a similar question had already been asked but, came up with nothing so forgive me if its been clarified before)

they’ll look at your fall grades before making decisions, you have to update them with your fall semester grades in January as well as with your planned courses for your semester or two quarters

what lomkh said, u fill out an application update in january, so fall grades are calculated into your GPA.

awesome, thanks guys. Thats one less thing to worry about during the break.
