The Great AP Challenge 2012

Hello CC-

Because I know none of us here are overachievers or perfectionists, it has occurred to me to introduce a little competition.

Essentially, who can take the most AP exams next year? This year, it's a little too late because registration money was due and you'd be mad to attempt self-study this late for some of them. But there's over a year until next year's.

Next year is my senior year and since the AP scores for that year won't matter in the slightest for college acceptances, just course placement, I've decided to go all out. To see if there is a breaking point, and then pass it. Call me mad, call me suicidal. I will die trying >:)

If my guidance counselor agrees (because my school only offers 4 of the following exams) then here is what I hope to achieve next year:

May 7- Psychology
May 8- Computer Science
May 9- Calculus AB
May 14- Biology
May 15- US Government, Comparative Government
May 16- English Language and Composition
May 17- Macroeconomics, Microeconomics.

That's 9 AP exams in 10 days. I feel the need, other than to test my endurance, to make up for the fact that at the end of this current school year I will have gotten only a measly 3 APs under my belt. This should bring me to 12.

Will anyone else take part in my quest? To the breaking point!

Winner must prove that they beat 9 with their score report (censor the grades if you must :p )

Use this to help plan:

I thought this was going to be something interesting like [this one](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/831012-imma-let-you-finish-but-screwing-ap-test-graders-part-3-a.html).

I took 14 in one year !

^ What were your scores on the tests and what tests did you take?

I’ll be taking six next year… I might choose to self-study human geo for fun but I think my plate will be full as it is.

I’m taking six next year and that’s already filled up my entire schedule and my guidance counselor won’t let me do anything more. I was supposed to take seven but that class was cut. Whatever. I’ll just blame any college rejections that arise from this on the republicans.

k have fun guys
I will laugh at you from May 7 2012

I’m laughing at them already.

Waste of money. Each exam costs $100 at my school, and most of the ones that I could self-study next year will probably only count for elective credit instead of placement. Besides, I’m taking 10 this year (my junior year), and I’m kind of panicking due to procrastination; I don’t think I could work up the motivation second semester senior year.
