ohman my hardest question ever: tell me something you dont think came through on your application.

me: nothing, actually, because my essays kicked serious college butt.

what i REALLY said was: "i'm pretty normal girl even though i'm so into my ecs. i like reading celebrity gossip and talkign about the oc...but wait i think i wrote...yeah, i wrote something about that too."
interviewer: ohmygod! what about that britney spears stuff WHAT is going on there?!?!

hahahaha he got really excited to talk about britney spears.

haha woah, weird, what place was that at?!?! haha, i totally bashed britney and anna nicole news on my last interview.... haha and the person was so with me... lol

Haha the guy I had for my Harvard interview was pretty old - not to mention stiff, but nice all the same. So far I've had pretty good experiences with interviews. I find them to be more open ended that allow you to speak - and if you're like me, and you have a lot to say about things - you will do fine.

i had one full-scholarship interview so far and i would say you can take as long as you want, but it will be awkward if you don't answer after a while. there was one question that i did not prepare for and i tried to delay answering by saying "humm that's an interesting question." i would say a 20 sec pause is the most they can wait. oh the question they asked me was "describe your perfect day."

Did they ask you guys nothing about the current state of healthcare in the US (managed care, malpractice, dealing with the uninsured, rising healthcare costs, etc.)? I figure if they're going to lock a high schooler into a career path, they would at least expect the student to know what they're getting into.

i haven't gotten asked specifically about health care, but one of my essays was on health care, so my interview just asked me to elaborate on it.

It was pretty scary realizing that I couldn't BS my way through an interview with a real doctor...the man went to brown undergrad and UPenn for medical school...intimidating!
I go to a medically oriented high school and I'm a certified EMT, so I thought I'd be ok, but I had some close calls.
I think it still went ok, though.
