I just noticed that Harvard wants applicants to submit the Common App ASAP, adding that applicants can submit the short answer, personal essay, and supplements at a later date. I'm assuming they ask applicants to submit basic info so they can start your file.

But this isn't easy. The common app does not let you submit unless you've completed the short answer and essay. So your options are:

1) upload an essay that says "tbd" and fill in a short answer that also says "tbd" and then electronically submit via the commonapp or...
2) print out the common app, write in "tbd" in the short answer and personal essay section and send it in by snail mail.

Does anyone know which way it the best/preferred? Or is there another option?

Perhaps this is an applicant test that clearly I'm failing. :)
