NH- other than Dartmouth, NH schools are about mediocrity at prices that will make you cry. At the privates, spend more than 30K/yr and you too can be a kindergarten teacher! The "university system" has UNH whch has some good majors and I think they charge 18K/yr for INSTATE; they get their budget cut annually & there's a revolving door in the President's office. My oldest D graduated from Mary Wash in VA (AGREE: HIDDEN GEM)......had no prob getting great Jr Yr London internship and now works at top DC firm (they interviewed & hired her in 2 days and were impressed with her background). Second D just started @ DePaul, but few here on East Coast know about this school so I agree again that this is a hidden gem. We found it on Internet while looking for big school/big city. We had visited Northeastern (>$40K) and needed something with a more manageable price tag. Go Blue Demons!
