Most definitely, the "OMG! ***!? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" score for me was Calculus AB. Thankfully, I did much better than I expected. I thought I was on the borderline between a 3 and a 4, but I got a 5.

US Government and Politics was also a pleasant surprise. After coming out of the test, I thought I might have had a chance at a 5, but I also knew of the ridiculously low percentage of 5s and the horror stories of brilliant CCers who somehow ended up with a 4. Luckily, I got a 5.

My only negative surprise (and only slightly) was English Lit. I got a 4, and I thought I was on the borderline between a 4 and a 5 and had a decent chance at a 5. Oh well, I still get the same college credit.

I most firmly believe now that Environmental Science is a joke AP that shouldn't really exist. I started cramming for that exam (no joke), at 10 PM and went through Smarty Pants for the next four hours. At 2:30 I went to bed.

I went into the test. I got a 5. =__________= This beats self-studying Psychology.

Otherwise, I echo the sentiments of the other Gov takers. Who did get a 5?! I thought the test was moderately easy and still got a 4. Queer. Maybe this year's guidelines had something on the terms of "if the student did not mention ________, automatic 4 or below" =p

It seems that whatever score people get they arnt expecting it. I think Collegeboard randomly gives out the grades and thats why they don't say subscores. :| lol

Not to be patronizing or anything, but as someone who took AP Lang through self-study without ever taking a formal Language class, it just wasn't that hard to get a 5 at all. I'd never done citations before, so I absolutely fumbled my way through the question that dealt with synthesis, using citation styles from Wikipedia, and the MC section was honestly just at SAT Lit level. (Maybe a little bit tougher) Not hard to see, what with the massively high standard of CC, why the 'normal' score here seems to be a 5.

Calculus: For FR#1, I wrote infinity for a) b) c) because I misread the questions or something plus I left some FR questions blank. Still got a 5, wth!?!? I guess I dominated MC
Eng/Lit: I thought I'd get at least 4, but 2??? ***? I wrote excellent essays!!

im in shock today..so for the past two years no one in my schools managed to get a 5 in Calc AB cause they all slack of..last yr the ppl going to stanford and princeton got 3's:S..so i went into the exam this yr with little sleep and no practice other then mcq's i barely knew the concepts..the mcqs went well but i left 5,6 FRQ...i called today i was hoping id get atleast a 3..a 5 OMG..its amazing..hahaha!!!!!!! i cant believe it..

Never opened american pageant...never payed attention in class...got C's and D's on all the tests in class...tried speed reading AMSCO the night before the test...got a 5 on APUSH...***...

shahwaiz, you got to take Form B of AP Calculus AB. Form B was a JOKE. It was sooooo easy. Form A for U.S. students was REDIC. The Free Response was insane, so don't feel too happy.

glycerine...well if you found it easy thats good for you..i thought the last two were pretty weird..and im surprised i got a 5 i think i aced the mcqs thats the only way i got a 5 but im happy..so please let me be happy..it isnt really my fault you didnt get the easier form this year around usually us international ppl get the hard forms..

I found the essay questions on APBio to be pretty darn tough :(. MC was fairly challenging, also. Wouldn't be surprised if I ended up getting a 2.

During AP English Language, I wasn't feeling too well. I was continually coughing and sneezing and having a horrible runny nose and cold, so I couldn't focus on the exam. Gah. So I don't think that I did so hotly on the MC. Essays were alright.

I didnt do a question on Calc BC so I was kind of worried about that, and had no idea about English since my essays were decent and mult choice could have been really good or really bad, and thought I would prob get a 4, but ended up getting 5s on all, so I was very happy.

^
Join the club. I only took 1 AP (Calc AB), so there's really no point giving money to the college board cult. I'm expecting a three, hoping for a four, and it will be a sad day when I open the envelope and get a two =(
