Calculus: For FR#1, I wrote infinity for a) b) c) because I misread the questions or something plus I left some FR questions blank. Still got a 5, wth!?!? I guess I dominated MC

For question #1, I found out that you could earn a maximum of 4/9 or 5/9 (depending on the wrong region that you chose) for answers that would yield results of infinity. Apparently, this was surprisingly common.

Also, the FR average for question #1 was just over 17/54, which means that the curve was probably a little generous.

Form B was a JOKE.

Having seen the questions and the scoring, probably not as much as you might think. :)

TheMathProf: Thank you for clarifying that. Right after the AP Exam, a lot of people hinted that they put infinity for a) b) c)...I assumed partial credit and consistency would help them. But still, not knowing that integral converges is a horrible crime! All ye who put infinity will face the gallows.

I think Calc BC's polar question exemplifies why some people found the test to be hard. The way it was phrased had too much superfluous information. A simple equality could have replaced two lines of text. Calc BC was highly hypocritical by being so verbose.

Human Geography: Barely studied and no class, so I wasnt expecting a 5.
Physics C (M): Even though I didnt really study for this, I was expecting a 5 since I knew the material and calculus, but got a 4.
Statistics: Was teh curve bad this year? I thought I did well. Ended with a 4.

3 in AB Calc - MIRACLE if there ever was one!
4 in US Gov, English Lit, and English Lang
5 in Psych.... I got the highest score in a class I didn't actually take. GO FIGURE. (I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get 5's on English; I worked SO hard... but oh well!)

I seriously got a 44 on my 3rd quarter report card in AP Euro(the teacher doesnt curve when he doesn't see effort).... The worst case of senioritis imaginable plus the most embarrassing moment of my life.....Anyway I studied the day before and got a 5 on the AP test.....Thats a story

On my Physics B mock, I got a high 4 (just a few points away from a 5)... so a 4 on the actual exam was not a surprise. I was hoping for a very close 5, but alas, I am not that lucky.

I got a 5 on English Language, which was quite a surprise since I despise English class and I consistently get my lowest grades in such courses.

My only regret is not having taken one more AP, but I did not have much choice (except for APUSH, but I refused since I do not enjoy History).

erm, I'm seriously questioning the curve of the physics B test. as a senior completely sucked into senioritis, I ditched my physics class 4 out of 5 days a week, never studied, sort-of-kind-of weasled my way through half the MC and guessed randomly on the other half, and answered one FRQ before lying to my proctor about having work and hence leaving an hour early. all that, and I ended up with a 3? I know a 3 ain't that good of a score, but I'd think that the curve would be such that unenthusiastic slackers don't pass. maybe my guessing skills are awesome, or something.

What's up with English Lit? I thought it was the only 5 I got from the 4 tests I took, and instead, it was the only 4 out of my other 5s. I must've seriously f***ed up the poetry MC and essay, because I thought my other essays and MC were good.

I ****ed with Physics, I did pretty well in the class, a 95 w/o extra credit, but I guess it was a draw, either 3 or 4 because my grades were basically split down the middle, and my dad is a Physics teacher, I suck, I guess I kinda expected it b/c i got a 610 on the SAT II and only a 92 on the regular level state test for it...

w/e i got a 5 on US and a 4 on English Lang

i got a 3 on AP Lang even though I was pretty much the best in the class and got straight As when no one else did

i got a 3 on AP Environmental Science...okay i expected that, but still disappointed

i got a 3 on Ap Comparative Gov. and politics...what the hell again, I expected a 5 since it was easy and I aced the course and studied like hell

i got a 5 on BC Calc...happy, but still what the hell happened?? I thought i BOMBED it and got a 2.

did not expect this at all. I got prolly 20 and 15 questions right on the subsequent MC sections. then the frq's i bombed them. the first one, i misinterpreted the question. the polar or and the taylor one i wrote "I do not know" on the paper. the water tank question..i did not get the last part due to the fact that i did not have calculator.

I just wanted to pass U.S. cuz i got a 2 on euro last year and i suck at history (majoring in finance). But on chem, I seriously thought i got a 2. I had leik a 95 average all year and my teacher was expecting a 5, but then the test came and I only answered leik 50 mc confidently, then gessed on another 15, left the rest blank. Then I left leik 3 sub parts blank on the part 2 and wasnt confident at all. BUT I GOT A 4 WHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! so f'in happy

BC calc: was expecting a 2 even though over half that take the test get 4s or 5s since I sucked at Calc all year. I wound up getting a 4 w/a 5 AB subscore. I can't believe I get out of a whole year of college calc. Awesome!

The only scores I'm completely surprised about are my Art History and Comp Sci A ones. I know I totally messed up at least two of the free response ones on CS, and I didn't get to some of the MC, but I got a 5 anyways. And Art History, I have no idea...I was just hoping for a 3. I didn't know for a certainty half of the MC, mostly just educated guesses...and there were a lot of FRQs that wanted information that I didn't have. Nonetheless, 5 on it too.

I'm mildly surprised at my 5 on APUSH given my short essays. I guess that just goes to show that length doesn't mean everything, and actual argumentative logic can pull through.

Other than that, not much surprise. I expected my 5s on Psych and Lang.

I can't believe that I got a 5 on my Calc AB test, after taking the test I was hoping for atleast a 3. I left tons of multiple choice blank and atleast 6 or 7 parts of frqs blank.

Last year I was expecting a 5 in Macro and a 4 in Chem and the opposite happened. ***? I was the best in my Macro class and took a couple practice tests even and scored 5s on them. Chem on the other hand was so hard that i didnt expect to get a 5.
