Thanks for the help, very much appreciated

Your IB SL classes are not considered equivalent to AP classes according to GT. Only your HL exams will count if you can score high enough. IB exam scores do not factor into your admissions decision.

What are your SAT scores and what is your GPA?

Do they notice the rigor of the ib?

At GT, it’s expected that all applicants are either IB or heavily into AP. So IB will not make you stand out, if that is what you are asking.

What grades should i get in the ib and what classes? I dont want to leave my acceptance to chance

Your IB Exam scores do not matter for admission. As far as grades, try to get the highest grades possible. It’s as simple as that. The same with SAT’s.

If you are looking for a target, try for a 3.8+ UWGPA and a 2100 SAT with at least 700 Math. The average admitted student last year had a 3.92 UWGPA and a 2090 SAT.
