The "I didn't get in but had an uber score" club

Hey

I was wondering if we could start a thread where people post their high scores they got on the SAT and the schools they got denied to.

The glass is half-empty gosh darn-it!

jkjk but seriously. I'd like to see cases where high scores were denied by schools. When I read the other thread about low scores/high caliber schools, I think I'm getting a skewed view of admissions. This way, I can see both sides, and estimate a middle ground.

I'll do the same level system as the other thread

Level 1: Lower-1750
Level 2: 1751-1900
Level 3: 1901-2100
Level 4: 2101-2299
Level 5: 2300-UP

So, list the level you are (or even the specific score would be best) and the schools you got denied to. You can also offer reasons as to why you think they denied you (lack of extracurriculars, financial, race, etc.)

awww how depressing =[

2400, rejected from DeVry, no idea why!

Are you lieing BuddyMcAwesome? It’s one of the easiest schools to get into!

Some people really don’t get the concept of sarcasm apparently.

^

The same people who can’t spell lying.

First of all, you should consider moving this thread to the college admission forum. You’ll most likely get more response there, since this one here is more for SAT prep.

If you search for a specific college in the “college and university” section on CC then look up the applicant stats, you can see how often people with high scores get denied from a certain college. I found that approach very helpful sometimes.

lol sorry 10char

what a cheerful thread :/

OMG I SPELLED LYING WRONG LMAO.

Lol I just noticed and am sorry for making such a retarted mistake.

Haha no need to apologize, it happens.
