<p>My son got this score on 3/1/08 sat test. He GPA in school is 3.2/4. Doesnt stand very high in ranking in the school out 500+ students. Could he hit any of the Ivies?</p>
<p>It's always possible, assuming he writes good essays, etc. There are many other excellent schools though, schools that aren't quite so ridiculously selective.</p>
<p>kua: Agree with fhg, in that it depends on essays, but it's not too likely given that Harvard admitted only 8% this year, and most of them were class vals with a similar, if not much higher, SAT. Get some good safeties and matches, and then hope for the best and no doubt the result will be favorable!</p>
