I'm confused...So if you got above 2300 you can't post?? or do you just post under lvl 4. I'm taking the SAT first time in Jan.

no, Narcissa. it's possible. I got a 2297 :-</p>

chink: there is another thread on here for over-2300ers. this is specifically for those who got into elite universities with SAT or ACT-equivalent scores of under 2300.

Level 4

Johns Hopkins ED

got in harvard ED full scholarship....

alam, can you post your level please? and congrats!

I posted above for my D (Level 4, Stanford SCEA), but wanted to add something: the acceptance letter had a handwritten note at the bottom which said how impressed they were the she rose to positions of leadership (senior class pres, etc) after transferring into her school junior year. I guess that was more important to the adcom than scores!

Level 4 (2290). son was accepted last year to Princeton, Brown, Georgetown, Notre Dame, NYU, Boston College, etc.

cgarrett: how nice to know that they truly do look at the app in its entirety. And that is quite impressive about your daughter!

I got a handwritten note from Stanford as well. Not in the actual acceptance letter, but in the follow-up letter that was sent a few days ago from the regional admissions rep.

She just mentioned something about how nice my essays were. I think Stanford is trying to project a more personal and intimate image than the detached nature of most correspondence with colleges.
