<p>Iā€™m level 4 and I got into university of Colorado and deferred by Northeastern University and still havenā€™t heard from UT.</p>

<p>I highly doubt Iā€™m in the top 10%. But my school doesnā€™t do deciles anymore so I canā€™t really be sure.</p>

<p>level 5 UW (pretty low but with demanding courseload of all APā€™s and honors) with <2300 SATs but stellar ECā€™s and essays who got into:</p>

Johns Hopkins (where heā€™ll be going)

U of Mich OOS
and UNC Chapel Hill OOS</p>

<p>I just reread my post and realized that people could take it the wrong way - I didnā€™t mean to demean hope and treble - I actually meant, DAMN as in, DAMN thatā€™s AWESOME! And that makes me feel so good as in, wow, I may actually get into some of my reaches with my GPA too!</p>

<p>what you should all realize is that the essay plays a humongous role in admissions. I read my friendā€™s main essay for his apps and it simply blew my mind away and Iā€™m sure that that played a big part in him getting into those amazing schools</p>
