If you haven't felt the striking blow of rejection yet, post here. Post the beautiful colleges that accepted you so far! Thanks for the contribution in advance! I'll start it off with my list:

Johns Hopkins
Emory
Dartmouth
Duke
University of Chicago
UNC Chapel Hill (OOS)
UC: Berkeley (OOS)
University of Pittsburgh
University of Georgia

nah, that’s why I said “yet”…Admissions have been so random this year, that we ought to be grateful for the colleges we have gotten into…For me though, it’s all about financial aid.

This is like the ULTIMATE bad luck…walking under the ladder, encountering a black cat thread.
For the sake of humanity I will not participate in the actual discussion as i believe in luck and this would be bad for me as my top 2 are left. LOL

well, i dont believe in luck…u dont get admitted to college for luck or karma, u get in because you deserve it. thats my belief…u may disagree if you want.

I agree (although I slightly regret posting now lol). It’s ok though, because Hopkins was my dream and they gave me some sexy financial aid lol.

Ok think about the people who have been rejected…I am pretty sure all of you can agree that a thread like this is not really one of support. How would you feel if someone waved their accomplishments in your face when they may be just as qualified but on the same day just didn’t have your luck? Whether or not I have been accepted or rejected anywhere is a fact I will keep to myself. I think when it comes to supporting your peers, you should do the same.

In hindsight you’ll realize that many of the posters on this thread are simply celebrating a victory. Implying that they have received acceptances because of sheer luck, or that they are unsupportive braggarts is a flawed notion at best. You are being overly insecure.
