On page 3 of the app it says "Dec. 15-Notification of decisions will be mailed and posted online"

DAYS UNTIL......
-November SAT (Sat. Nov. 5) : 3 (freaking out)
-Thanksgiving (Thurs. Nov 24) : 22 (come break!)
-online notification (Sat. Dec. 10) : 38 (need to know)
-acceptance letters sent (Thurs. Dec. 15) : 43 (wouldn't this be nice)

SAT's. I am literally prepared to bribe people to "not show up" (aka, leave), so i can use their books to test stand-by, if necessary. I don't know what purpose it will serve, I'm going to bomb them, especially the math.

I found the reason why life is so cruel: it doesn't have a fast forward button.

^ I'll be bombing math along with you.

I've got lit and math, and I haven't prepped a minute for either of them.....

I could take lit....i'm doing damn good in AP Lit all things considered, but i havent even looked at the SAT test. I dont trust it.

bongo: the opposite is true. I need a rewind button.

the satII lit is really easy, i got a 740 without opening any book or doing any kind or studying for it. Its a lot like the AP english lang test but the reading passages are much easier and substantially shorter

i ought to look it up.

in fact, i'll do that right now.

if i dont suck at it, it'll blow, cuz i wrote about my math SAT in my essay, so now i kinda have to take it, even if i wouldnt have had to otherwise

Yeah, where DOES it say that decisions are our Dec. 10th?!

and gmman and i DEMAND a hyperlink, or exact quoted source!!

don't mean to sound....idk, y'all got verbal 800's, u tell me! ;)

When I was on here for the first time last year, before I rceived all of my decisions, it was VERY, VERY stressful...not only for me, but foreveryone else on here. Then, when those decisons start coming in, you actually see folks change right before your computer screen. Some become very happy and start crying and others, who didn't get in, well....I haven't ever heard from them again (and no, I'm not kidding - they don't ever get on here again). The real fun begins, though, when it's time for decisions and the school decides to push their decision date back a week or two. Or the decison date passes and you find out the school doesn't have all of your materials..."What a great feeling!"
Believe me, it is a roller-coaster of emotions.

^ Hi ThomasH. I remember you posts from last year as you applied to Penn. I hope you're happy at the university, and hopefully, all of us will be joining you very soon:)

Thank you, Helix.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you up here at Penn. I love Penn/Philly. I didn't like it at first, just because of being so far away from home (Texas) and I didn't know anyone. But, things are really great, now. Penn is an amazing place. I am really glad I chose Penn over Hopkins, Georgetown, and Yale. I visited all campuses and this is the most amazing (in my opinion). I hope all of your admissions processes run smoothly. I remember how stressful it was trying to figure out what these schools were doing. All of my materials were lost, etc., etc.
If anyone ever has any questions regarding anything about Penn, please don't hesitate to ask...:)

Oh my gosh! I totally didn't realize that decision notification date is in a little over a month... I was expecting it to be longer than that...

But honestly, doesn't the anticipation scare you! I mean, whenever I have to look at scores or whatever online, I hold my breath... It's scary, cause what if you get rejected!?

shhhhhhh..........don't say the "R" word.

We're trying to think happy thoughts, y'know, positive energy and all that:)

oops... SORRY! what I meant was, EVERYONE IS GOING TO GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol, that's the spirit!

I will be the first to tell you that the "R" word hurts a lot. I don't care how you spin it. Male or Female...it hurts! However, the ACCEPTANCE letter is the greatest feeling in the world! You literally feel like you can conquer the world with it. You will all get accepted into the school you want, I promise....AS long as you have more than one school you are wanting to get into.
