<p>^ I can only tell you what I did. I used one of the formats used by a student at CalTech for his research paper. If I find the link I will share it here. But, don’t worry too much about the format. Don’t waste too much time making it look pretty. If you have done any background research then you might want to include your references.</p>

<p>Only you can decide. I don’t think it matters. The counselor who visited our school kept telling us that they want to get to know the applicant more than anything else. If the paper you submit reflects your interests and passion then you don’t have to worry.</p>

<p>I liked prateek’s story. Fitting in is perhaps the most important aspect of college. Sadly, lots of applicants don’t even consider this factor before applying to a college.</p>

Manga is something like Japanese/ Korean comics. Anime (what you lesser mortals call ‘cartoons’) is generally based on manga. Of course I don’t watch crap like Shin Chan (that irritating twerp!).</p>

I HATE Shin Chan. It’s the most pathetically ridiculous cartoon I’ve ever seen, and it was infuriating and a little sad to see people my age talking about him. It doesn’t even get points for good animation!</p>
<p>^^My interest in anime is quite newfound. I think around Feb. when coaching ended. I spent days of finals glued to laptop and polished off around 100 episodes during them. I go through such phases often. All my SATs were preceded with hours spent watching *Mary Kate and Ashley<a href=“Two%20of%20a%20Kind”>/I</a>!! Even the night before the test. It was some sort of ritual. Bring out MK&A and CC! Exams bring out the super weird in me.
I want to try out Full Metal Alchemist. I hear it’s pretty cool.</p>

<p>Haha I’m going through such a phase now. Except it’s not anime, it’s Grey’s Anatomy. My best friend made me watch the pilot recently, and I’ve been hooked ever since. The sad part? It has 7 seasons. SEVEN. I think the whole world is conspiring to make me fail the IB.
Oh I heard FMA is pretty good. The manga’s much better than the anime I believe. Not that I know myself.</p>
