wow!!
23?? thats some cruelty on UCLA’s part :)

ani, I gave this [Chinese Aalaap](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube) when I read scumdog’s rant.

Join cooking classes. I know, weird, but later you’ll be daydreaming of spicy indian food after months of bland american stuff, and I hear Indian restaurants aren’t good either. My friends abroad almost never sit for dinner without being armed with salt and pepper shakers, which is all that is available there apparently to add spice.

OH GOD.
I can’t believe i’ve been stressing over such a ridiculous thing. Looking at my own stats reassures me. I don’t even HAVE anything to worry about and here i’m losing sleep over this. They can verify all they want! :D

Let’s move on. Is it just me or is the urge to shop the most when exams are going on?
i just got this amazing pair of ballet flats in seude recently, but that’s about all that I’ve been allowed at this time when all the malls are cruelly choking with sales.

“Knowing your friends, their decisions and other US-college applicants in your city/school, do you guys have any idea about how many Indians does/did UCLA accept? (a very rough estimate will do)”

I know like 25-27 people who applied and more than 15-16 made it. And my city is not even a feeder city.

4 people applied to UCLA from my school. All 4 got accepted 2 of them are US citizens though.

Asked a friend, he said 13 applied, not 23. Lol oh well. My school’s a one-off case. UCLA is not that hard also. Ppl are demanding answers from the GC haha funny

And oh pixie, saying “dude my grandfather is from harvard and I have connections to Sonia Gandhi and oh imma go to huhvuhd lalalala” is not pompous? :P

And itsmylife, … =_=

Less than 12 hrs left for MIT decision :O

… and all applicants are pretty stressed about it… so what’re you doing to kill time? :|

MIT decisions? Well, that’s INTENSE. :|

Trying to study but can’t
I have read my MIT application over 20 times since morning :P

I just tagged this thread the “scholar symposium”

Hello TitERs what up??
how are the decisions coming along??
so, i’ve bin trying to catch up on this thread and as i strolled through the past few pages i couldn’t help but notice the ■■■■■■-y nature of some posts/people. Daymn tit was awesome last year, dont frigging crap on it, if you know what i mean.

those of you guys who got rejected , bin there man, don’t give a rats arse about those decisions!

^ Hi St.Ans from St.Paul!
TiT19 >>>>>> TiT18. That’s why TiT18ers come here.
neways, i remember ur fight very well. wise man, shush up. (jk)

Thanks for reminding us that world will come to an end if we don’t get into MIT.
Who cares about trivial matters like tsunamis, nuclear meltdown etc.?

Everyone in my school who applied abroad applied to MIT except me, so I kind of feel tense myself. :S

But, I keep telling myself as I study probaad-probochon(proverbs) for my Bangla boards: as they say in my textbook, bel pakley kaker ki?

Moderator note: *This thread is in danger of being closed.

This situation has arisen before and a second chance given. That second chance is now in jeopardy.*

Oh, the moderator message scares me. Did my one line of Bangla bring it on somehow? :O

And we WERE discussing MIT decisions…so…not off-topic…

In case you guys switched directly to this page and didn’t see the last post of the previous page:

OK guys. College discussion ONLY from now on.

EDIT: Spam includes the irrelevant/stupid tags as well. 2 of which were created as I wrote this post.

I guess there will be TiT #20 soon! :D

TiT 20 FTW.
