The Indian Thread #20 (a)

YES. Blizzards = snow days  There’s nothing like the fun of an unexpected snow day. Mother nature’s triumph over schooool. :p

^ blizzards are fun. Last year we had a ball! :D

[Buried by blizzard, students seize the day | The University of Chicago](<a href=“Page Not Found | University of Chicago”>Page Not Found | University of Chicago)

thanks a ton @anialways for answering my financial aid questions. i think that answers pretty much everything :)

After having lived through the apparent ‘fun’ of snow, I know I’m going to loooooooove Cali weather :D

ChubbyCheeks and I will enjoy building snowmen and making snow angels and having snowball fights :p

Trying to make me jealous, eh?

I’ll enjoy making sand-angels. Surfing. Teasing Stanford students. Walking around topless throughout the year. Beat that :p

Don’t worry, Tizil, you’ll have plenty of snow to play with at Lake Tahoe.

Not my intention, but I guess you must have felt pangs of jealousy since it occurred to you. ;)

My intention was to start a school-pride ‘discussion’ but looks like it did not have the intended effect

Let’s officially have the discussion on May 1 because I am still conflicted about my school-choice :p

…but since you asked for it…
Teasing/partying with Harvard, MIT, BU, BC students, etc. Rowing/picnicking near the Charles River. Experiencing four seasons instead of one. NOT walking around topless. Jumping in piles of crunchy fall leaves.

^that’s the life :p

^Hahaha, see. Tizil: 0 TheEcnegilletni: 1 :p

You are very deluded if you think Berkeley is sunny all year. Nor Cal gets pretty cold during the year and you can certainly not roam topless all year round.

Mystic, still not as bad as Boston. :wink: Just checked, the average low at any time throughout the year is just 6.4 celcius. If not topless weather, it can easily pass for t-shirt weather. Trust me, it is very warm compared to Brussels. <a href=“Berkeley, California - Wikipedia”>Berkeley, California - Wikipedia;

Intelligence (r), would you rather prefer BU students over Cali girls? I’m assuming you are a guy.

1:1

On a completely insignificant and arbitrary note ( ), which schools are you considering?

I took summer classes at Cal…and the weather was still breezy/cool. You need to dress in “layers”. But you get some sunny days…not as much as UCLA. Boston is known for its gray and cold. I’d take Berkeley over Boston  And Disneyland is only 6 hrs away !

Tizil! Man up! MA weather builds character.
(Haha, it’s funny how everyone thinks MA is like the Arctic. Really, it’s not! The weather here should not deter anyone, especially considering we live in a society equipped with the modern benefits of heating and electricity. :p)

Dude, do you realize how much diversity you can get from the Boston/Cambridge area alone? There are like a million colleges here. Many colleges = many guys/girls. It’s the ideal college town. You just can’t beat that. Plus MA people have got the looks and the smarts.

1:∞ :p

(Harvard and MIT, the only two places I applied to. Both are very different, but I love both of them for their differences.)

You know TheE, not everyone is as smart as you, and not everyone is accepted at H and M.So we don’t have the chance to choose colleges based on their weather :p

On a side note: I am having fun, keep going :D

I am going to jump in here! And side with TheEcnegilletni!!!

(Reasons- I AM HEADED TO MA w00t w00t)

:D

It is entertaining for this mid-westerner to watch the fight between MA and CA.
I feel like singing the CA state song to my friend in MA. Peace? :D

Oh boy, how in the world will I compete with that? :p
