@phr34k - thanks and yes, I will be taking subject tests this November !

@iamgh2- Who does’t find them funny? lol. :)

@perfectprashant- which tests are you giving? and which major and colleges you applying for?

Yea, SAT was good yesterday. I wud say CR was easy but it wasnt always smooth-sailing either. That “butterfly” dual passage was crazy! Hey guys, what did you answer for ""What was Weiner`s attitude towards Pervez’s experiment?
a) Ambivalent b) Dismissive c) Exhilarated…dont remember the other two!
And that ‘Venice’ passage was such a joke!

But hey guys, any of you took it in St.Michaels, New Delhi? If yes, which room?
lol xD

@dillettante800- Venice and butterfly passages were good… I don’t know why you found them crazy…

And moreover be careful and don’t post specific questions… You signed a non disclosure with them… I have read that the cb folks take these things rather seriously…

Is it necessary to take SAT 2 if you’re a commerce student? I don’t understand what subject other than maths I can take… English would be rather tough compared to the regular SAT test. I’m in a fix.

@Veethiv: I think you should. It’s your chance to show your academic abilities. My friend gave Math + Biology, he’s from commerce too. Why don’t you explore some subjects see which ones suit you best ?

Can I give Maths Level 1 + Maths Level 2? Many colleges don’t accept that. The thing is I don’t much time to prepare for something new such as world history or science subjects.
Thanks for your responses. Much appreciated!

@ phr43k - I am giving math level 2 and physics and what about you??
@dilettante800- yea i took the sat in St.Michaels , in room number 2 , and you were in which room?

^ lol… not 2 but 11 !! lol i was thinking about something else and writing something else ! :P

And yes , I think Weiner`s attitude towards Pervez’s experiment was dismissive ! :-/ maybe !

Haha, I’ll add my two cents to this. I did take the test at St. Michaels but not yesterday. I did so in May, for my Reasoning Test. I didn’t like the school one bit.

I took yesterday’s subject tests in another country ;)

Hoping for double 800s fingers crossed

I took the SAT at St. Michaels in June. Boy, was it uncomfortable!? I couldn’t fit my legs in those dilapidated tables. I decided to take it at GD Goenka this time. It was a pleasant 1 hour drive in the morning. :)

Anyone else who took it at GD?

I took both the SAT I and II at Pathways, Gurgaon. A-mazing school!

On another note, I think I did very badly in Math II. Does anyone think it’s a good idea to retake it in December?

You either have Physics or literature. My friend too was in commerce but he gave the test in physics…

@perfectprashant- the same here. physics, math 2 and maybe literature…

Oh okay, thanks for the replies! So, can I give the subject tests in January? or would it be too late? Jan or Feb? Can I send in the scores after I apply to colleges?

Sure you can if you are applying RD, the SAT scores will be out much ahead of decisions which start pouring in March onwards.

And yes you can send scores after you have applied, in fact anything that boosts your application, commendations, a big grade jump in any subjects, any club participation worth sharing and anything that you feel will add to your application, sure …

Hi guys!
