Looks like we are going off-topic, here’s a college related question. How much thought do I need to put in my extracurricular essay? Is it okay if its a little dry. I couldn’t fit much emotion or passion in that word limit. Should I re-write it?</p>

<p>Hey guys…for those of you who dont go to international schools: if you’ve started with the school forms section of the commonapp…can you let me know how exactly youre sending in your school marks for the 9th to 12th grades? Does the school just have to scan and upload copies of your report cards or are there columns in which to fill in your marks? And what about your predicted scores for the 12th boards? Is there a separate space for those?

<p>Official school transcript will be given to you by the school. It basically verifies your marks and stuff. Ask for it from your batch supervisor/school office or something.</p>

<p>@shrey: Yes, you would have to… It’s advisable to upload the transcript online as well as snail mail it to the respective colleges. As Anielways had mentioned, you should dispatch the packages around mid december to be on the safe side of things. </p>

Shreya and Cobalt,i sympathise. Its pretty difficult going to an ordinary school. And about the transcript I think both uploading and mailing are required. Latter super time waste.</p>

<p>@16erdad- same here! Essays, transcripts, recos all left, and i just realized i have a full portion test in less than ten DAYS. 
And then 2 preboards. Ill be so glad when its all over!
