^ Yep, two friends got deferred from Princeton.

Harvard has the highest deferred rate at 67%.

@Tizil7: if they’re on CC, who are they?
@texaspg: ***.
@both: its 4. I’m a hypocrite but go to sleep! ;)

Edit: assuming you both are in India right now of course.

Congratulations Alea !!!
Great news.
Wishing you the very best for the journey ahead.

Dancing Juice Desu, nope they aren’t on CC. But I can vouch for them as formidable applicants.

Congratulations Alea! Wonderful news!

OMG! Congo Alea!
Absolutely awesome news! ![]()
All the best ahead :)

hey guys, need help asap?!
what subject test should i give? physics or chem?
just between these two, what do u think would rather be easier for an Indian?!
plz pl respond asap!
thanks

“Would be easier for an Indian?!”

That statement caught me off-guard. Why do you think being Indian is going to help you at a subject test? You might as well take the Lit. test. Plus,it would be very pretentious of me to suggest a test without knowing anything else about you expect your CC name. Take whatever you think is suitable. I am going to give you just two pieces of advice:

The Chemistry test matches 11th grade CBSE syllabus more.

The Physics test has a much more lenient curve.

Choose well, for no one else can make that decision for you.

Math II has a much better curve than !.

However, taking these tests has nothing to do with being Indian but your knowledge base determined by the curriculum you follow.

Guys guys…are any of you RD applicants submitting any financial documents soon?? are there colls that require them with the application or do most of them have later deadlines?

Also, do i have to submit any forms like the css profile/ certification of finances to colleges that im not asking for aid at?

I’ve heard many on this forum are submitting their CSS profiles. A note of caution though: Cornell’s financial documents deadline is 1st January, whereas other colleges have much more generous deadlines (February or March). Plan accordingly.

^yeah, i knew about cornell…thanks
but i dont think ill be asking there…
so for the others you think its safe to start working on the css profile after the rd deadlines? are you done with yours?

My ignorance spreads so far wide that I don’t even know the full form of CSS. So nope, not filling that out :D

Hahah, i didnt know either… ![]()
you made me feel stupid so i googled it…College Scholarship Service. :)

Achalv, congratulations! Are you ‘THE’ Achalv? :eek:

For those who can’t understand this post: It is in response of Maverick getting into UIUC (early). He deleted his post :p

I got into UIUC!

I’m contemplating accepting their offer and applying for housing, but I’m holding on somehow… :P
