The Indian Thread #20

^Thanks a lot Cobalt, hope the adcoms think the same. :D

Excellent essays, Tizil and Karan. I don’t how the adcoms will feel, but I felt refreshed and elated after reading them, and that at 11:30 PM in the night. Best of luck for your apps.

Can I know the name of your book please, Tizil, through PM? :)

Ok guys, I’m so sorry I completely forgot about this thread for a very lonnnnng time.
What’s going on?? did any of you all get accepted to cool places already?
I also want to thank each and every one of you for all of the help you guys have given me. I got into Wharton :slight_smile:
Love you all sooooo much
btw Tizil : Fantabulous piece of writing, how did you get to meet Mr kalam? Kudos and best of luck to ALL OF YOU :slight_smile: Ill be coming now and then but boards on my back so wont be replying every so often .
Again :Thank you all very much .

I feel so outta this thread cause I’ve never written a college app in my life :P

@Eminim Fan: Sure, I’ll PM you :)

@Prinki: Wharton! Congratulations! I applied to Penn SEAS, so maybe we could be in the same university :wink: Thanks for your comments on my essay. I was invited to talk with him for about 4 hours and spend part of the day with him. I didn’t apply early anywhere, so I have to wait in agony till March :stuck_out_tongue: A few people from here did get into UIUC and Georgia Tech though. If I may, did you apply ED or EA to Wharton?

@Tennis: Nice to see you here after some time :slight_smile: I’ll give you a tip: Start filling/finishing college apps during your summer break next year. Trust me, it makes your life so much easier later on. I think all of us have applied to the schools we wanted to. Now starts the sluggish wait of ~ 70 days.

Tizil: Yeahh, I’ve heard. I’m a major procrastinator, so taking that advice would be a good idea (: Especially because I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA as to what I need to do. I’ll probably end up crying myself to sleep for the next 3 somethin years of my life. Yippee.

I thought I should tell you, I am stalking you on the high-school forums :P

Don’t take so much stress :)

Ah I realize, I realize. What other threads have you tracked me down on? Hm? (;

Eh, stress is my lifetime companion. Can’t get rid of it. And I’ve learned to live with it, so it’s not really a problem.

@Tizil7: I applied ED. Penn does not have EA. best of luck :slight_smile: Hope you get into Penn as well and decide to go there :)

I can’t change your opinion. So, that’s the spirit! Don’t let stress dominate, and enjoy life :)

Thanks Prinki :D

Your welcome :slight_smile: lol that was fast.

Everything on this forum is fast :D

^Not me :P

not always, sometimes it takes people ages 2 reply. Take me for instance.

@karan: my thoughts mirrored :P

Tizil, could you PM me your book title as well? is it available outside india?

Sure Alea, but beware, I wrote it in 9th grade and it hasn’t been updated since. Just a heads up so that you are not shocked by the low level of intellectuality in the book :P

@Alea, ok I just perused the thread…U GOT INTO HARVARDDDDDDDDDDDDDD??? :0 wayyyy to go girl!!! Best of luck for everything :)

How do you know that for sure? :p

Prinki - Congratulations!

I thought Alea is a male.
