The Indian Thread #21

Yes, usually calculators are extremely helpful in regression questions. In my own time, I didn’t understand it at all, even posted round the SAT forums for help, but without avail. Basically, even if you skip all the regression questions (which is only 1 most of the times), you’ll still get an 800. The curve is very easy.

Best of luck everybody! And don’t buy SAT or SA1 books. They are free on many websites, ask me if you want, I will email.

@xnorth -

Thanks man! Where you applying or thinking about? I’m still researching more colleges. It’ll help me to add more colleges to my ‘look at’ list. :)

xNorth22:

 1. enter the data into L1 and L2 by clicking STAT and then Edit
 2. adjust the window for the given data
 3. click STAT and then Calc and scroll down to ExpReg
 4. Then you should type in the following ExpReg (L1,L2,Y1) so that the equation appears for Y1. (the L1, L2 comes from 2nd STAT and Y1 comes from Vars, Y-Vars, Function)
 5. graph it
 6. use Calc (2nd Trace) to find the value at 1965

(P.S. I got 79338.572)
