I hate being called Newbies :)
Anyways i was wondering if being from a small town has some effects on your chances, also did your school attached a school profile with your app.

Cheers to the retiring (but not completely) members of 14,
for the benefit of any new 'uns who read this thread in the days to come, this is Kaushik, who'll on occasion post on his twin's behalf. Best of luck to us all in our quest for admission!

Oh and I do believe that my school attaches a complete profile with every application, they also have an excellent policy of allowing each student complete access to any materials sent.

Can anyone translate this into English? It's a screenshot from a video game (a mod of Half-Life 2). I'm not sure if it actually says something or if it's jibberish and they just used devanagari because it's a cool looking script for a fantasy-themed game.

You're right, by retiring, I meant nothing more than the fact that as they're going to be in college, their frequency of posting will probably lessen.

Regarding the screenshot, unless its some obscure Hindi "sher" or poem, I think its just a series of random words. For instance the last three words of the last line are: "rule, horse, lion"
