Happy Birthday Lakshya!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. :)

no problems i'm ready to accept belated b'day wishes

Thanks Arjun!!!!

Happy Birthday Lakshya.....

And yeah you guys have to come up with discussion topics now...we are always there to answer stuff, or take part in something interesting but we (atleast I) are way too busy to devote time to CC

mother of god...i mustve been high or sumat...anyhoo lakshya seems like u'll hv to do with belated birthday wishes too...

Ditto, It's exactly one month and we have only 186 posts.

Anyways is being a good Boyfriend(15 Hrs/week) considered as EC or as Community Service?

well ofcourse what vampiro points out holds.. we cant devite much time to the thread as before but def do make sure that the presence remains n integral part..

Happy birthday Lakshya.. i knw i am a bit late but well i guess its always better late than ever (old cliche saying!!)

well we cant take part in long shot debates and also discussions as of now and well ofcourse cant also check the forums like everyday .. but well you ppl may start ideally discussing your applications.. its progress and all the stff related to colleges and personal fun here .. thats how the earlier threads grww.. and thats how this shud grow as well..

at any point of time we are here to answer specific stuff or things you might have to knw.. and well be its guranteed.. but what is def not happenng is our active participation in the thread aas reg discussion participants....

hope that made sense as i just typed this randomly.. hehe

SM

sure a boy friend does lot of social work, he volunteers out with a chick who has no other bf( sadly), spends out his whole pocket money (improving the finances of a few Eateries and iits waiters), helps in.... of course a lot of other things
all said and done, but 15hrs a week is too less atleast increase it to 25, it'll have a good impact on thhe adcoms( they'll wonder how exciting a fella you are that a gal can spend 25hrs with u every week)... cummon man bunk ur A level classes and chill out with her

well being a boy friend has a very huge impact on the addcomm i am sure.. atleast tht defines ur commitment levels,,

afterall ur loyalty defines ur charcter and they may knw that.. a better way to further impres them would be to let ur gf write u a recommendation letter and tht too personal handwritten..

furthrmore get some proof of ur Bf'gf ship with some photos and send them in too.. all packed in a nice folder..

i am sure the adcomms wud love reading it.. and watchng the whole stuf.. abt the admisssion dont worry... that is on to them to decide afterwrds..

SM

I guess having a GF should come under community service if she is the one who asked you out and EC if you were the one who asked her out. Either way, its definately counted. ;)

i second that.. after all community service is helping the not so priveledged section of the society by all means

and by helping those gurls who dont have a priviledge of having a boy friend u do community service only..gr8 and count ikn the number of hous too..

anyways on a more serious note.. who all have already given the sats and got s gud score..lets see and analyze ur progress and applications now. its high time

SM

I haven't written any of the SATs till now. Anyways is anyone participating in the Intel Fair or IEYI.

Does it help in anyway to send the Part 1 of common application in September itself? I mean do they have priority admission or something like that?
