1420 on 2400 is a bit too low…maybe,she should try again…there is time left…

Class 10, not class 9. My school’s academic calendar is a bit different.

1420/2400? Oh my, that’s pretty low. I really don’t know, Quasi. Try creating a thread in the parents’ forum, they should be able to help you.

How many applicants do you think will write about MJ in their essays this year? I won’t but I have a feeling that quite a few will.

“How did you get caught? (Or not caught, as the case may be.)” This must be the most vague essay option I’ve come across so far.

That is SUCH a cool question.

Pity I’m not applying to Chicago.

MJ in my essay? Oh god no no no!

Nah…The MJ mania will die out by then

Yeah, NOT me. :D

I know, I love that one, although probably not as much as living the question. That was the best essay topic of all time and I dedicate all future essays to it. :)

I remember that one as well.

But, topics like those can be fun and annoying at the same time.

I’d probably muff essays on topic like that by trying to sound all intellectual. I love writing without a specific topic in mind. I try to find topics that match my essays, I kinda suck at writing essays tailored to a specific topic because I can digress. A lot.

Is it worth mentioning a national rank of 271 in an olympiad? :S

^ I really would not do that unless, there is a great story behind it.

My school’s counsellor is the school’s vice-principal. He told me fill up my counsellor’s report and then said that he would just sign it. Is that normal for Indian schools?

Completely normal.

which olympiad?

Last year’s science olympiad. I was ranked 20 in the state also…

hehe once I took the olympiad in my tenh grade… ranked 50 all India, is that worth mentioning?

Which olympiad???

lol at gary7’s last two posts.

They’re probably talking about the NSO(National Science Olympiad).
