The Indian Thread (TiT) # 17

Okay it takes WAY too long to change a test date. I’m never doing it again.

I’ve already experienced it once(changed from May to June).Had to call College Board and I was bombarded with questions by a lady for about 15 minutes!

I made my dad do it :p

I asked my Dad to do it, but he growled at me. :(

15 minutes, smartchap? You’re lucky - mine took half an hour! And the lady was nice, but she either had a cold or had just woken up, judging from her voice, which made me feel awkward.

So you’re now doing the Subject Tests in October?

Just back from my center.Very tired.

I’m positively expecting atleast 2100…but,I’d prefer to wait and see.My experimental was Math, but I’m not sure which of the Math sections was the experimental. So,I may or may not get 800 on the Math.CR was easier than expected(I might even cross 700).I’ve never crossed 650 on any of my practice tests, mind you). And the writing was the biggest surprise of all.I aced it.The essay was good enough for a 9-10(I hope).I just managed to finish on all my sections.I was also warned once for continuing after the time was up:p

So,a decent day for me.

SAT I in October, actually. So I only get one go at the subject tests. (Lit and USH in Nov, Bio in December). I could kick myself, but eh. I don’t think I can afford the TOEFL - can’t we ask schools to waive it if CR is 800?

Good going smartchap. What Subject tests are you giving?

Nice going, smartchap!

The only school that’s asking me for the TOEFL is UMich - and that’s with an 800 in CR. Morons, putting me through 3 more hours of test-taking torture.

Wait, aren’t you applying ED? If so, isn’t December a tad too late?

Oh and bio’s a real b****. I’m so glad I got out of taking it. Bleagh.

Done! Phy, Chem should be 800s hopefully. Math 2 is a lil doubtful coz I had to litterally guess on 2 questions after elliminating a couple of options and I’m prone to making a LOT of silly mistakes. Especially coz it was very HOT and I had a bad bout of asthma at the test centre :frowning: But still, It should be 770+ hopefully…

Yeah, but Amherst asks for only 2 SAT IIs, so those will be done in November. I’m doing the third one in December so I’m prepared to apply elsewhere if (when?) rejected.

Didn’t have AC at the test centre gary?

OK, that sounds like a good plan then.

@quasi:

I’m takin Math2,Phy,Chem all possibly on the same test date…Mostly October. If I don’t get 2200 on the SAT Reasoning,I might have to take it once again.

But you aren’t doing ED right?

I’m not ED-ing…why?

Ah! 2200, don’t state that figure :-/ Just reminds me I failed to get it…
And nooooooo!!! There was no AC :open_mouth: Quite the opposite…

oh,sorry…lol…I’m being too overconfident that I might be able to crack it…hehe

Anyone knows where i can find Potassium Perchloride or Sodium Nitrite?

If you were in Chennai, I could tell you…

Take the hint guys! rt is on the way to his 4th invention
P.S. There’s a place called school, rt

Sodium Nitrite…okay
but Pottasium Perchloride…no way…
