I needed to get admission in Yale(full ride including air fares) so just thought that my friends would help me with it ?.. :)

Good Night…eh :O

Congrats tetris.

Haha! Was that a joke rt? Or perhaps you had an overdose on the vodka, eh?

That was a joke…maybe a denuded joke…adrivit
BTW i have nvr had the taste of vodka or any other hard drink…coming to this point I would like to ask u that do international students drink and smoke in campus i mean i am sure there might be some who would be away from those sort of things…

whee! hi5s rt! yay for teetotalers! another one who’s never drunk alcohol! umm… i don’t know anyone who doesn’t smoke or drink at UCLA (though my going-to-be-roommate(some dude from ohio) says he doesn’t) but then i know someone who doesn’t do it at CAMBRIDGE! and cambridge’s the kind of place where you’ll have professors invite you over at their place for a few drinks and a brain-juice-sucking discussion about relativity! (plus they have the craziest parties!!) so yeah- i guess it’s possible to find people who’ll go to parties and shamelessly have “pepsi-shots” with you! :D

…and UCLA needs me to do a 12 hour AlcoholEdu course and take a test and do an assignment about it! o_O so basically… they tell me (more like lecture me for 720 minutes) how something i swear never to have can kill me!! ■■■.

hi5s to 100%tuna from me
Wow i never thought that Cambridge hosted wild parties though i wouldn’t mind brainstorming discussions on relativity…

This is with context to this:

So do you guys suggest I should go for ANU, keeping in mind the current scenario there wrt Indians.
Also I havent received the scholarship from ANU as of now. They have only said that I have a good chance of getting it.
On the other hand in Qatar, they are giving 100% aid in the form of loans which can be repayed back either in cash (15% of your monthly income) or by choosing the work service bond option there and working for six years. To reduce the work duration, I can also pay them as I work there ( 1year of work = $27000).
The third option is that I continue to study at my present engg. college and sweat it out and give US a shot for an MS ( though I really think I would have any decent chance at any tier1 university with that kind of a collg degree specially when I am competing against the likes of the IITians and the NIT guys for the same spots)

I am really stuck in a mess… Guys please help me out… It will be great of you can read my thread and then reply back.

easy srajan easy

Ragging won’t be an issue!

Yes, racial abuse/ragging etc. takes place in only the lower tier univs to the best of my knowledge.
