the International Affairs major

Hey, does anyone know what's the highest math you have to take for the IA major at the Elliot School? I think it's statistics, and I'm hoping so because it took me a long time to get to that, and I don't think I stand a chance at doing well in any other math classes. Does it stop at statistics, or do I need to take even high algebra classes? Thanks.

do you mean in high school or at gw? at gw you only need 6 credits of math or science as the general requirement. not sure about high school.

I meant at GWU. Since I'm a transfer, it really won't matter. But as far as college goes, do I only have to take statistics? I've taken about 3 math classes just to get to statistics (I'm horrible at math) and I don't really want to take anymore since I know it'll kill my GPA. I've also taken 4 science classes (two with two lab courses to go with them). I'm pretty sure all I have to take is Statistics though.

for transfers it might be different, but for incoming freshmen, only 6 credits total of any math or any science is required. no specific level of math is required. you could take logic or statistics or calc or no math and just take some science classes.

Awesome. I'll be taking logic as well next semester, and I actually love that subject.
