The internet is an ugly, ugly place.

Who has heard of Jessi Slaughter or kerligirl13? This scandal just broke out recently, and she and her family had just been placed under police protection today.

I just looked it up. I don’t really understand how it started? Sad story though, she needs some guidance.

wow, when i was 11, i wouldn’t dream of doing the things that jessi did lol

I just heard about it today and I looked it up. I was on Yahoo Answers when I saw someone asking about kerligirl13

Someone answered this: Let me tell you something about Jessi Slaughter. We were best friends on MySpace. I know, right? It’s so embarrassing. I don’t even… Whatever. So then on Facebook, I changed my relationship status to my first boyfriend Kyle who was totally gorgeous but then he moved to Twitter, and Jessi was like, weirdly jealous of him. Like, if I would blow her off videochat with Kyle, she’d be like, “Why didn’t you message me back?” And I’d be like, “Why are you so obsessed with me?” So then, for my tinychat, which was an all-Tumblr tinychat, I was like, “Jessi, I can’t invite you, because I think you’re nine.” I mean I couldn’t have a nine-year-old at my tinychat. There were gonna be Tumbloggers on their webcams. I mean, right? She was a NINE YEAR OLD. So then her dad made a youtube video and started yelling at us, it was so ■■■■■■■■. And then she dropped out of school because no one would talk to her, and she came back to MySpace, all of her hair was cut off and she was totally weird, and now I guess she has nudes out.

LOL!

Anyway, so I looked it up. So apparently, she’s a youtube vlogger/tumblr-er/myspacer/etc. and she was getting some mean and hateful comments because of this guy posting something accusing her of having “relations” with a member of some scene/punk/emo band. So she posted a video of herself cussing out the haters, which prompted more flaming.

Then she posted a video of herself breaking down and crying, in the background her dad comes in and attacks viewers too saying stuff like “I’ll call the cyber police on you” and “you done goof’d” – which became an instant meme.

Some people started posting her address and phone number as well, and now her family has constantly been attacked.

Ugh, she brought it on herself, I agree. But, I just can’t believe that people would go to such extremes to torture that little girl. Even worse, I bet they wouldn’t pull that kind of crap in real life. Ahh, internet anonymity.

Anyway, she’s eleven! I wouldn’t want my parents to check up on my internet activity, but with these kinds of cases, I can so see why parents should!

It truly is very ugly. I would like to steer away from Jessi.

Who are some people that make this forum unbearable? Who are people that ruin threads?

I’ll start the list

1.BostonIdiot
2.

According to one online source, she put up some annoying/ridiculous youtube videos which were discovered by 4chan’s notorious /b/ board, who took it upon themselves to circulate her personal information and harass her via internet and later phone calls and other forms of communication as they found it, which caused serious drama within her household, which prompted her parents to request police protection, which has now renewed debate over internet filtering, protection, and privacy as well as online free speech rights among other things.

Her videos made the ppl on 4chan rage. So the people there decided to flamebait her through video comments. Eventually, she had enough but in the end she just made a fool out of herself. 4chan turned her and her dad into a meme. “You dun goofed.” “Consequences will never be the same.” “Cause I backtraced it.” I don’t pity the girl, to be honest. Well, I might. I’m just mad at her parents for raising her like this. She’s out of control like this on the web, and I heard she even slept with a member of her favorite boy band!

If anyone wants to watch the videos, google Jessi Slaughter and then look for the article on her from urlqesue.

Am I allowed to do that? Will I get an infraction?

Some of those videos are pretty funny, though. Sad, but still funny.

I cringed watching the first video. It’s so… UGH! “I have THREE boyfriends, jealous much?”

“I’ll pop a glock in your mouth and give you a brain slushee”

Seriously though, how could her parents let this get away from them. Also, I find it very sad that her father escalated the whole ordeal even though he was just trying to protect her. You can see what kind of people are raising this girl.

i just feel sorry for the girl. i don’t understand why she does those things…

Cause he backtraced it. Duh.

Wow, I don’t even know what to think of this story. SMH.

Lol @ themeaningoflife. Why are you so obsessed with?

I just watched the videos hahaha. If that were my parents they’d be beating me, not threatening the strangers on the internet

BTW does Jessi not have parents?

HAHAHA!! I totally thought he looked like Luigi!

Yes, she has parents. In an interview, her mom revealed that she had no idea what her daughter was doing on the internet. She said she knew that she had a webcam to chat with friends, but she had no idea she was making these kinds of videos.

Her story was so sad. Those people are not parents… This is so sad.

^They really are. At 11, the only thing I did on the internet was play games on Disney channel’s website.

I get it now… LOL LOL LOL

Wasn’t Justin beiber discovered on youtube? Another kid gone wild.
