the *intersting* factor in admissions decisions

<p>.... after reading "Admissions Confidential," I think that being "interesting" ... really matters in putting you over the top, especially if you're not a definite admit or reject.... what do you think?</p>

<p>Colleges now are trying to "build" a class with diverse talents, abilities, and interests. They aren't just going to rank every applicant in terms of SAT 1 and admit their way down from #1. Doing something that's unique in your own way will set you apart from the hordes of people applying to top colleges. Quite possibly, your own "angle" might turn out to be the most important factor in your admission decision.</p>
