This year, no matter where you live, you’re going to be lucky to get an interview. The number of applicants is overwhelming almost every one of the regional volunteer committees. But “lucky” is really the wrong word. As interesting, informative, and even fun(!) as interviews can be, it’s important to remember that they aren’t required. So enjoy your interview if you want one and are offered one, but don’t be anxious if you don’t.

Interview is scheduled: tomorrow at noon via skype couldn’t be more psyched!
What are you guys planning on doing to prepare for your interview?

I’ve got one this coming friday at a law firm. My previous college interviews have all been at starbucks/Barnes and Noble, so I’m a wee bit nervous.

Don’t worry, just be yourself.

My interview went quite well by the way. At least that was my feeling. She was really young, just graduated in 2009 and was an international like me, so I got the feeling that we connected.

is it in tarzana CA? we might have the same interviewer

I’m a regular decision applicant and interviewed on December 6th… I guess I got one of the earlier interview spots? I interviewed with a graduate from my school (who I didn’t know but was Tufts class of 2009) and had majored in the same thing I wanted to. I think it was one of the first interviews she had done because she seemed nervous but it was a great interview nonetheless!
