What is the URoch interview like? What type of questions are asked? Can anybody give me insights into their own personal interview experience?
It is basically just a conversation with an admissions officer. If you have stuff to talk about it’ll be easy. Think of a few extracurriculars and things about yourself you could talk about before hand. My interviewer asked me about what I did this summer, whats something in the last 4 years I am really proud of, why I like rochester, etc. Make sure you know things about rochester that you like!
I think it might depend on whether you do it on campus or at one of their off-campus events. My son did his at a hotel near our home, and it was actually the strangest one he had. It was a large room with maybe 10 or 15 small tables set up, with an interviewer and an interviewee at each table. His interview was the most boring, cookie cutter interview out of all the interviews he did. He walked away feeling like the alumnus who interviewed him had no idea of who he was. (Still loved the school enough to go there though!)
