The issue of admissions regarding race.

How much does being biracial (ie: Filipino/Venezuelan) help in applying towards schools such as Duke, Cornell, NYU, etc. Do these factor into their considerations at all?

stop trying to get something for nothing...
Yes, you get advantage...for stupid, unethical and racist reasons

Oh, I'm qualified academically too, I was just wondering how it factored in and how much.

yes it does... princeton study shows hispanics get 180 point bump, blacks get 230, native american 300,
being asian = -50 being white = 0

So does that mean I get a 130 point bump, Hispanic - Asian? I obviously don't mean literally, but I'm guessing that would be the rough formula.

this is based on the old 1600 scale, so more for the 2400 scale

thanks for the info

Do Indians (Gandhi, not Sitting Bull) get any benefit or disadvantage from affirmative action? Are we counted in the Asian category?

I would assume Indian would count as part of the Asian category. So that could have a negative impact.
